For an efficient recharge, open the lid and make sure the solar panel is directly exposed to the sun during the day. Placing the panel outdoor in recommended.
Turn the switch on the bottom of the solar panel to ON1(or ON2) position and leave it. The unit handles the rest, It turns the sun jar off during the day while recharging the batteries, and lights up automatically when it gets dark.
Turn the switch on the bottom of the solar panel to ON1 position, the sun jar will throw out a blue light, Turn the switch to ON2 position, the sun jar will throw out a yellow light.
